What the room keeps
We keep what the game needs to run and to pay you, and we count visits. We never sell it and never show ads.
When you play
- Each join, string, hit, miss, end and leave of a room is one line on our server, with a random id your browser made for itself, the room's code, the kind of browser you use, and the link you came by.
- A page view keeps the website you came from (never your search words) and a hash of your address mixed with the day: it cannot be turned back into the address, and it differs every day.
- A song you bring (a .mid file) is read in your browser. We keep how many notes and seconds it had, never the file, its name or its title.
When you pre-order
- Your email, the price, the room, the link you came by and your browser's kind. We use the email once, to send the pay link and the pass link, and for nothing else.
When you pay in Telegram Stars
- Telegram takes the payment; we never see a card. We keep the order (the pass, the Stars, your browser's id, the link you came by) and Telegram's payment id, so the pass opens for you and a refund can be found.
- If you write to @UnisonPhonesBot, we keep your Telegram username, chat id and the first 500 characters of your message, and a person reads it to answer you.
- When you take a string in a Telegram or Discord room, your first name goes on that string's button for the room to see.
When you press Feedback
- The words you type, the page's recent error messages, the state of the room, a picture of the page and your browser's kind. A page that breaks, or a socket that drops mid-song, sends a report by itself, with the same details.
Analytics
- We count visits with PostHog: pages, clicks, errors and anonymous recordings of the page. Recordings hide what you type in a field. It sees your address to tell your country. One copy goes through our own server, another to PostHog Cloud in the United States.
- A birthday's name typed into a party link is cut from every address the analytics keeps, and that page is not recorded.
On your device
- Your browser stores a random id, the pass you opened and whether you tried a locked song, and two short cookies: the link you came by and, while you pay, your order. PostHog stores its own id there too. You can clear all of it in your browser at any time.
Never
- We never sell or give your data to anyone, never show ads, and never use your email for anything but your pass.
Ask us to delete yours
Write to [email protected] with your email or the pass link, and we delete what we hold that is yours.
