How many TikToks have I watched?
TikTok shows no count. Its data download does list every video you have watched, one line each, so your real number is the number of lines. Here is how to get it, and an estimate in three dials while the file is made.
Get the real number from TikTok
- In TikTok's settings, ask to download your data, as TXT or JSON. U.S. PIRG, 2024
- Wait for the file: at once for a new account, a few days for an old one. You then have 4 days to download it.
- Drop the file on the counter, which counts its Watch History on your own phone: each entry is a video you watched.
The watch history inside the app goes back only 180 days; the download goes back to the day you joined, by one guide. takeoutday.org Instagram now lists your watched Reels too, under Your activity, Watch History, but it shows no count. techcrunch.com
